The PathWave development team is pleased to announce the availability of Model Builder (MBP) 2020 Uodate 2.1. This release adds adds support for BSIM-IMG 102.9.4, BSIM-BULK 107, and BSIM-CMG 101.1 standard model versions, upgrades Java to JDK 8 and includes various bug fixes.
PathWave Model Builder (MBP) 2020 Update 2.1 Release Notes
MBP 2020 Update 2.1 is a minor update release and is a full installer (base release not required).
New Features and Enhancements
– Upgraded the default Java version to JDK 8 Update 202.
– Added new model BSIM-CMG 111.1.0
– Added new model BSIM-IMG 102.9.4
– Added new model BSIM-BULK 107.0.0
– Supports HiSIM_HV 2.4 with COSUBNODE=1
Defects Fixed
– Fixed the issue of IMV constants that can only be extracted from first loaded device data.
– Fixed the issue of parsing expression without single quotes for HSPICE.
– Fixed the issue that PathWave Model Builder (MBP) cannot work when subckt model and compact model have the same name.

Besides compact models, PathWave Model Builder also supports the macro (subcircuit) model and Verilog-A model. It provides automatic extraction packages. The script environment enables extraction flow customization, device target definition and GUI operations. PathWave Model Builder 2020 adds the new UTSOI2 model extraction package, MOSRA-API based model extraction package, Lib Tweaking feature and other enhancements to improve modeling productivity and efficiency.
