Noé Huchard, establishes himself as one of the most promising musicians of the new generation of French jazz. Trained from childhood on classical piano, he quickly devoted himself to jazz, which he studied at the CNSMDP where he obtained his Master’s degree with the highest honors in 2021. Winner of numerous competitions and invited on international stages, he has collaborated with figures such as Kurt Rosenwinkel, Stéphane Belmondo or Lucienne Renaudin Vary.
His new project “Young and Fine”, recorded in trio with Clément Daldosso (double bass) and Donald Kontomanou (drums), draws up a musical fresco around the emotions and questions of youth. The trio explores minimalism, trance, swing and silence with a strong sound cohesion. The album rethinks the traditional codes of jazz through an entirely acoustic post-production, where Noé Huchard adds choirs, prepared piano and percussion, creating an organic, singular and contemporary sound material.
“Young and Fine” is an introspection as much as a look at the world, an inner journey where energy, melancholy and hope intertwine.
