The Hyperledger project comprises a consortium of companies who have come together to build specialized blockchain platforms and tools for different industrial use cases. These are developers and experts from a variety of different industries who have realized the power of the blockchain technology and realized that multiple frameworks are needed to support different use cases. Tools which help make working with blockchain easier are also supported by the Hyperledger project.

This course covers:

Distributed ledgers and blockchain: Understand how the blockchain technology can be used to store a distributed ledger of immutable and verifiable transactions
Blockchain overview: Transactions, mining, and consensus algorithms
Hyperledger Fabric: This is by far the most mature, robust, and popular Hyperledger platform. It is specially configured for enterprise applications and provides features which overcome many of the drawbacks of Ethereum.
Hyperledger Iroha: A blockchain framework specially constructed to work with mobile applications and other constrained environments
Hyperledger Sawtooth: A blockchain framework built to work on large networks with many nodes
Hyperledger Composer: A web-based user interface which runs on top of Fabric networks and allows you to build business applications using Blockchain
