The School for Good and Evil is an upcoming fantasy film directed by Paul Feig. It is based on the 2013 novel of the same name by Soman Chainani, with the screenplay is written by David Magee and Feig. The film stars Sophia Anne Caruso, Sofia Wylie, Laurence Fishburne, Michelle Yeoh, Jamie Flatters, Kit Young, Peter Serafinowicz, Kerry Washington, and Charlize Theron.
Universal Pictures was initially set to release the film; Netflix took over in 2020. Production began in early 2021 in Belfast and later that year. The film is scheduled to be released on October 19, 2022.
Theodore Michael Shapiro is an American composer best known for his film scores.
He is a frequent collaborator of directors Ben Stiller, Paul Feig, Jay Roach, Karyn Kusama, and Rawson Marshall Thurber, and won the 2022 Primetime Emmy Award for Outstanding Music Composition for a Series for his work on Stiller’s series Severance.
