We’re excited to announce that Enchanted by the Masters, the new album by cellist Bence Bánkövi and pianist Marcell Szabó is out now. This release explores a unique blend of classical and contemporary music, featuring transcriptions of iconic works for cello. Highlights include Stravinsky’s Suite italienne, Bartók’s Rhapsody No. 1, and Rachmaninov’s Élégie and Popper’s Hungarian Rhapsody, along with a powerful piece by Gyula Bánkövi, Bence’s father. The album concludes with Stravinsky’s Mavra eautifully translated to cello.
