To mark the 50th anniversary of Guy Clark’s legendary debut “Old No. 1,” a tribute album titled “Old No. 1 Revisited” has been released. The original 1975 record, recognized as a masterpiece of Texas songwriting, exerted a profound influence on the Americana genre. The new project features a track-by-track reimagining of the entire original album, recorded in Nashville under the direction of producer Dan Knobler.
