On February 27, 2026, harpist Catrin Finch will release her new solo album, “Notes to Self,” marking her first collection of original compositions in a decade. Dedicated to her thirteen-year-old self, the work is a deeply personal reflection on a forty-year career and a complex life journey. The album addresses themes of vulnerability and transformation, drawing from Finch’s experiences as a cancer survivor and a gay woman. By integrating musical pieces with accompanying letters, the project chronicles her professional evolution and personal triumphs over adversity.
