Keep Out of the Storm is about holding your head high and your hands steady on the wheel as we navigate all of life’s turbulent times. I’ve always found shelter in the power of a big riff, a good word, a bigtime vocal… so I closed my eyes and travelled back in time to when I was 12 years old, playing Nintendo 64 and listening to my boom box loaded with Soundgarden CDs. I shut my eyes and imagined I could sing with the power of the late great Chris Cornell. Rock N Roll music has gotten me through so much, I hope this song may do the same for you.
