Since 2015, Piano Day has grown into a global celebration of the piano, bringing like-minded people together in an ever-expanding range of settings: from concert halls and living rooms to cafés and churches; from outdoor performances in forests and public squares to online broadcasts connecting listeners across continents.
Piano Day and LEITER join forces once again to present Piano Day: Places, the fifth official companion album. Featuring eleven exclusive, previously unreleased tracks by artists including Alfa Mist, Felicia Atkinson, Ralph Heidel, and Viktor Orri Árnason, the compilation explores how place — lived in, passed through, remembered, or imagined — shapes listening and creation.
