Debut album by the young Czech string quartet named after Hans Krása features early works of three Jewish composers born in Prague – Hans Krása, Karel Ančerl and Erwin Schulhoff composed in the early stages of their musical careers. At the time when they experienced first successes, were full of youthful energy but also conflicting emotions. This is how Krása Quartet wishes to represent them – as the young artists unburdened by the tragic events that followed, playing the music of their youth.
