This essential and motivating need for movement is linked to a molecule: Dopamine, often nicknamed “the happiness hormone.” Jean-Charles Acquaviva has seized this invisible energy to explore its origin, to translate its functioning and its effects with his language: notes, rhythm, timbre and that thrill specific to music.
All these elements contributed to the creation of this new album of original compositions, in a jazz style that is melodic, vibrant, and joyfully contemplative.
