Siemens Digital Industries Software has released Calibre 2024.1 is a suite of electronic design automation (EDA) software tools used for integrated circuit (IC) verification.
Siemens Calibre is a suite of integrated circuit design tools designed for design engineers. These products enable users to perform physical verification of full-chip design layouts during the early stage in the design cycles, check against electrical and physical design rules, identify areas of layout with excess vulnerability to random particle defects, run signoff DRC and LVS checking of complete multi-die systems at any process node, and monitor standalone interposer/package connectivity without including the individual die design databases. Products include Calibre nmDRC, Calibre nmDRC Recon, Calibre Pattern Matching, Calibre Multi-Patterning, Calibre 3DSTACK, Calibre Auto Waivers, and Calibre YieldAnalyzer.
In this episode of Chalk Talk, Amelia Dalton and David Abercrombie from Siemens investigate the details of Calibre’s shift-left strategy. They take a closer look at how the tools and techniques in this design tool suite can help reduce signoff iterations and time to tapeout while also increasing design quality.
Siemens Digital Industries Software is a global leader in the growing field of product lifecycle management (PLM), manufacturing operations management (MOM), and electronic design automation (EDA) software, hardware, and services. Siemens works with more than 100,000 customers, leading the digitalization of their planning and manufacturing processes.
