XFDTD 是 REMCOM, Inc. 所开发的高频电磁分析模拟软体。利用有限差分时域（ FDTD ）演算法解 Maxwell\\’s 方程式，在任意导体及介电质环境下之时间与空间领域的电磁场问题。可应用的频谱范围，从无线电波（ Radiowave ），微波（ Microwave ），毫米波（ Millimeter-wave ）乃至於光学频率，即约 100 kHz 至 3000 GHz 。

产品功能
几何 / 网格构建 ： 3D 实体 /2D 平面几何建模、 Boolean 运算、 Copy/Move/Scale/Rotate 、 Mesh Edit/View 、 Mesh 参数的控制（自动 / 手动）等。
材料 ：完全导体、损耗性介质、分散性介质、异方向性介质等。
Sources/Loads/Ports ：电压源、电流源、集总 RLC 电路、非线性电容、面波、高斯光束等。
边界条件 ： PEC 、 PMC 、 Liao 、 PML （可调整层数）等。
视觉化结果 ： 2 维的电流分布 / 稳态电场与磁场、 3 维稳态表面电流、 2 维的 SAR 值等彩色分布图、制作动画（输出 MPEG 档）、阻抗 vs 频率、 S 参数 vs 频率、天线模式、 Smith 图、暂态结果的傅立叶转换等。
3D CAD 输出 / 入 ：输出 SAT 档、输入 SAT/DXF/STL ，另外亦提供其他模组（ optional ）输入 third-party 的 CAD 档（ ProE 、 CATIA 、 IGES 、 STEP 档等）。
XFDTD SE ： 最基本的分析功能，包含近场模式，稳态与暂态的远场模式，雷达散射截面（ RCS ）， 圆形极化 （ Circular Polarization ） 等 ，使用的材料限制用耗损性介质，适用一般的电磁场计算。
XFDTD Pro ： 包含 SE 的功能，主要是应用在天线与微波电路的设计与分析。适用于任意导体与介电质材料；可计算 S 参数 （ multi-port ）、 阻抗 、天线特性（如天线效率、增益、指向性、输入功率、辐射功率）等。
XFDTD Bio-Pro ： 除了包含 SE 与 Pro 的功能外，最主要是应用在生物体与无线装置间的电磁场分析，例如：计算电磁波能量吸收比值（ SAR ）、 SAR 的最大值以及发生的位置、 SAR 的平均值，除此之外，参照 IEEE C95.3 的规范，计算 1 gram及 10 gram 的平均 SAR 值与发生位置。另外，可产生 SAR 的 Color Display 。现行版本提供 FCC 认可的 SAM （ Specific Anthropomorphic Mannequin ） Head CAD file 近似脑部组织的图形档，更有助于获得精确且真实的计算结果。

The point release updates XFdtd to Release 7.3.
Specific highlights of the release include:
– Waveguide ports
– Magnetized Ferrite Materials, Thin Wire Materials and Periodic Boundary Conditions are now accelerated with XStream GPU Acceleration
– Meshing performance has been improved by utilizing multiple CPU cores
– Dramatic reduction in overall time to prepare a simulation
– The static solver has been enhanced to calculate and assign static potentials to uninitialized conductors in the problem space
– Improved accuracy of static solver when utilizing meshes with variable grid spacing
– Dissipated Power Density field plots
– Active VSWR result for antenna array analysis
XF7 is available in both Pro and Bio-Pro versions.
